Dr. Swartz, a Boston native and Tufts University alumnus, was selected to lead an American Red Cross Exchange Program to Colombia. He subsequently received his medical degree from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. He then completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at the University of Connecticut. He is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1977. Dr. Swartz is a veteran physician in South Florida for over 30 years, with Senior Privileges at Miami Children’s Hospital, where he was recently honored for his, “for his Dedicated Service to the Children of South Florida”. He is also an active staff member of Baptist Hospital Miami, West Kendall Baptist Hospital and South Miami Hospital. Dr. Swartz served as President of the Greater Miami Pediatric Society. He takes pride in being a mentor to many pediatric interns, residents and medical students throughout the years as well as being shadowed by many students interested in the medical field.

 

Dr. Swartz has been married for over 40 years, has two children and is fluent in both English and Spanish and Sub-Specializes in treating kids with Attention Deficit Disorders.
